About
i daydream: is simply a photo a day photoblog and a forum for me to explore my ideas and techniques.
about richelle forsey: I am a Toronto-based photographer and photo-illustrator, raised on a steady diet of National Geographic from birth. I always wanted to be a photographer and travel the world. I started on my wayward path to becoming a photographer studying art and photography for about 10 years at the Etobicoke School of the Arts, BEALart and the Ontario College of Art.
In 1997 I dropped out of college to spend a year documenting the lives of the ABSDF, (All Burma’s Students Democratic Front) and the refugees living in the camps in the border area between Thailand and Burma.
Since then I have been hard at work in a variety of professions: illustrating for the Toronto Star, facilitating new media ‘workshop adventures’ for at-risk youth, web developing for Environment Canada and even published an art’s and culture magazine Hive, (duration 1 year 2003). Currently I am working on a series of social/industrial landscapes and feral interiors called ‘…terrains. See some of the work here.
